Welcome Bags

Whether you're planning a traditional or a Destination Wedding, welcome bags are a terrific idea.

Most importantly, they say "thank you" for attending.
It's a thoughtful touch for your out of town guests or the guests who have taken the time and spent money traveling to a destination to help you celebrate.

You can stuff the bags with useful information such as maps, nearby favorite restaurants as well as an itinerary of any activities or get togethers you may have planned.

One of my personal favorites is a personalized "Do not Disturb" sign for their hotel room.
The only thing I might add would be the date of the wedding.
A fabulous keepsake!

Don't forget the children if any are invited. Print up some activity books for them.
Attach a bunch of crayons.  This should keep them occupied, especially during the reception.

No need for these bags to cost an arm and a leg.
Remember, it's the thought that counts!

Don't forget your personalized welcome note, preferably handwritten..

Unique Ideas

Having chosen a Destination Wedding will entitle you to do some unique and fun things that you wouldn't necessarily be able to do if you'd chosen to have a traditional wedding.

Decorating open air space with paper lanterns or balloons is a perfect example.  These items are easy to pack, virtually weightless and easy to transport to your Destination Wedding.

Pick colors that match your color scheme, or stick with one color.

Speaking of color, coordinate your bridal party and have fun with your pictures.

This will take a little thought ahead of time but will definitely pay off when you look back on your special day!

A "Memory Chair" is always a nice touch for those close but no longer wth you.

Their presence will be felt and again, very easy to pack and transport to your wedding.

Why not take a picture of all your guests on the beach?

Have everybody stand in the shape of a heart!

This will also make a great keepsake from your Destination Wedding should you decide to have them framed and give them as a keepsake.

How about having your grooms men all wearing suspenders?
This is a huge trend for 2018

No matter what you decide to do at destination, give these ideas a bit of thought in advance.

These are only a few examples of what can be done to make your wedding stand out from the rest.
As always, Your Destination Wedding Specialist will have many more ideas for you!

Original Destination Wedding Ideas .. Under $5.00

Recently, I've come across some very inexpensive and original ideas for your Destination Wedding.
These ideas will set your wedding apart from all the rest.

They'll leave a very lasting impression and the best part, they are all under $5.00, easy to pack and a definite conversation starter!

To start, purchase a few sets of doilies.  Personalize them and glue them to your Out of Town Bags.  These bags can be simple brown bags.  As a matter of fact, they happen to look amazing once glued on.  They can be used on your Favor Bags as well.

The Process of Planning Your Destination Wedding

Planning Your Destination Wedding is a process, much like the journey you're about to take with

your friends and family.

First, both you and your fiance must both agree this is the way to go.

If one of you isn't happy with the decision, then it's not a good idea.

The next step would be to find an experienced Destination Wedding Planner/Travel Consultant to help guide and steer you in the right direction.

While you might have been dealing with a Travel Consultant for past vacations, please know you will need the expertise of a Destination Wedding Planner for your wedding to ensure all perks and coordination are included in your wedding.

Choosing the right resort or hotel is also of paramount importance.

You want to be sure all your requirements are met and that all your guests will be happy with your decision.

There are tons of elements to consider such as flight schedules and resort accessibility.

Choosing the right venue is imperative.

Once that's settled we will provide you with complimentary rates from a few different locations.

As soon as you decide where you'll be holding Your Destination Wedding, you can exhale!

As experienced Destination Wedding Planners with service worldwide we will go to every extreme to ensure our couples and their guests are completely satisfied with their choice.

Taking into account all special requests from guests and their families.

From there, it's time for us
to send out your "Save the Date" emails to all those invited.

These emails will include all pertinent information on their vacation.

Yes, I said "their vacation", even though they're attending Your Destination Wedding, let's not forget it's their vacation too!

We are humbled to say that we are in touch with  most of my Destination Wedding couples!

Some now have young families and we plan some amazing family vacations and cruises.

There are so many benefits when dealing with an experienced Destination Wedding Planner.

Including complimentary packages, upgrades and much more!

Yes, it's a journey BUT so well worth it!!

Please don't hesitate to contact us

An All White Destination Wedding

Can't decide on a color scheme for Your Destination Wedding?  Maybe, you should go all white.

Here are a few ideas that will showcase nature's beauty with all white accessories.

For instance, you may choose to embellish your wedding programs with silver glitter.

Floral arrangements with a few crystals make a beautiful tablescape.
A white wedding will definitely make a statement while highlighting the beautiful elements nature has to offer.  Of course the hues of the ocean and palm trees are free of charge.

Simple and inexpensive favors can also be white.
Always a classic color, whether you're having a destination wedding in the snow or the sand.
As always, your destination wedding planner will have many more ideas for you.

A Spash of Color

Once you've chosen to have a Destination Wedding, shortly thereafter would be the perfect time to decide if you'd like to have a color scheme.

The color or colors you choose should carry through from invitations to Thank You notes, and everywhere in between.

You may choose to take advantage of nature's beauty by showcasing the natural colors that will surround you, such as the ocean.

That being said, you may decide on all shades of  blue.
A huge trend I've been noticing lately, is an all white wedding.  Perhaps, this is thanks to Kate Middleton..No matter the reason, white does make a beautiful statement.
If white isn't for you, the options are endless.
Simply coordinate your flowers and napkin colors.
Neither have to cost you and arm and a leg but will definitely speak volumes!

These are just a few inexpensive and easy ways to carry color through your destination wedding.

For those who have decided to have no color theme, have fun!
You'd be surprised how far simple paper lanterns will go!

As always, Your Destination Wedding Planner will have many more ideas for you!
No matter your choice, have fun!
Think outside the box!!

Destination Wedding Favors

Though not mandatory, wedding favors are always a thoughtful touch.
Seeing as you're having a Destination Wedding a little goes a long way.
Package your favors in decorative brown paper bags.
They're so easy to pack, and don't take up much room in your luggage.
You can personalize these bags, or leave them as they are.

Another idea would be parasols.  These will serve multiple purposes, from shielding the sun to having your bridal party walk down the aisle with one in hand.
Take them a step further by decorating them with pearls or crystals, even have them monogrammed with the date of your wedding and location.

Beautiful luggage tags are another fabulous idea.  Inexpensive and useful for future trips, not to mention...
Decorative ideas are endless!
As always, Your Destination Wedding Planner will have many more ideas for you.

Destination Wedding Attire

You've decided to have a Destination Wedding...
Great Choice!!!

Have you decided whether you'd like to have your guests dressed in Black Tie Attire, or casual?

Your attire will dictate the theme of your wedding.
If you decide to get all "glammed up", you should let your guests know, and on the other hand should you decide to walk down the aisle barefoot ~ let them know as well!

This will set the tone of your wedding!

You'd be surprised to know just how many wedding parties simply "forget" to let their guests know how to dress!

Whatever you do..
Don't forget to have the Groom's Party looking dapper .
And YES, very sexy too

Remember, this is YOUR day and there is no WRONG choice!

You can also chose to "mix it up", by having a FORMAL Ceremony and then shedding it all by having a Smores Bar or BBQ on the beach after midnight!!

No mater what, please do let your guests know what to expect from Your Destination Wedding.

As always, your Destination Wedding Planner will have many more ideas for you.
