The wonderful world of PINTEREST

This past week, I discovered the "wonderful world of PINTERST".

This is a personal invitation to all of you who follow me on Facebook and my blog, to start following me on PINTEREST.

It's a simple way of learning a little more about me and my style through pictures.

Some fabulous ideas for Your Destination Wedding and Honeymoon.

From original "Save the Date" ideas to Destination Wedding decor.

While sifting through the thousands of pictures out there, I found myself thinking "I knew that!!".

It wasn't until I actually saw it in pictures, that I realized how easy and economical things could be. I discovered many uses for mason jars and chalk boards, to name a few! What could be less expensive? How amazing rose petals jazz up your aisle..

Great ideas for your Wedding Pictures, if you're having a Destination Wedding..

Money Saving Tips for Your Destination Wedding

Try to plan Your Destination Wedding around the major holidays and Spring Break. You don't want a resort filled with rowdy college students.

If there are no children attending, you might want to consider an "Adults Only Resort". Most of these resorts will offer complimentary wedding packages, depending on how many people are attending. Try to stick with the basics. Afterall, who is ever going to remember a "signature drink" that was created especially for you and cost you a small fortune?

Your ceremony and reception can be decorated beautifully on a minimal budget, You'd be surprised just how far candles and rose petals can transform the ordinary into extraordinary.

Your Destination Wedding Planner will have many more ideas for you!

Welcome your Guests ~ A Few Ideas

Whether your guests have arrived by plane, train or automobile, chances are they'd love to be greeted with a nice cold or hot drink, depending on the climate.

This will give them a few minutes to refresh and get their bearings. This small gesture can easily be arranged with the hotel staff.

When they get to their room a handwritten "Welcome Note" should be waiting for them. You may also choose to include a list of activities you have planned. A welcome bag, though not necessary is always appreciated. You don't have to break the bank, just include a few thoughtful items. A few favorites are bottled water (with a personal label, perhaps the date or the names of the bride and groom or both), flip flops, a towel, to name a few. Your Destination Wedding Planner will have many more ideas to share with you.

The first night should be informal. Generally, people are tired from traveling and the last thing they want to do is get all dressed up. An informal cocktail followed by a laid back dinner is a great way for everybody to get to know each other, and unwind.

The common thread that runs through my blogs is to KEEP IT SIMPLE! It's the small things that will keep them talking.
