Selecting a Location for Your Destination Wedding ~ What to Consider

One of the first things you will do after deciding to have a destination wedding is to choose a location.

Here are somethings to consider..

If you have guests attending with young children you might want to look into resorts that offer mini clubs and babysitting services.

This will make it very comfortable for everybody.

If you are lucky enough to have grandparents and older guests, you might want to think about smaller easy to navigate properties.

Some even offer shuttle services on the grounds. We'd love to tell you about these resorts!

Inform yourself about weather at the time of year you'd like to have your destination wedding.

Is it hurricane season?

Try to make the flying time reasonable as well.
If possible direct flights work best and will allow some guests to travel for a shorter or longer period of time.

Send out your Save the Dates as soon as possible.
The more time people have to plan, the better

Do know that some guests who you really thought would never miss out on the great celebration of your destination wedding might not attend?

You are not alone, this happens more often than you think.

Keep your head up, it will be a fabulous party!
